Amsterdam, May 26th 2011
In October and November 2011 the spectacular Brasil Festival will be hosted in Amsterdam. The festival will include concerts, exhibitions and seminars. In addition to the cultural program, an economic program with the theme ‘Growth and Stability’ will be held on October 5 and 6 to promote trade and investment relations between The Netherlands and Brasil.
This economic program, ‘The Netherlands - Brasil Business Meet 2011’, is sponsored by KPMG and Rabobank and is organised in cooperation with the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, VNO-NCW, AkzoNobel and the Brasilian Embassy.
On October 6, a seminar will be organised for Dutch and Brasilian corporates and investors. This seminar will be opened by a delegation of the Brasilian government. Key speakers of large Dutch and Brasilian corporates share their success stories about their business activities on the Brasilian and European market respectively, followed by an interactive panel discussion. Participants can join information sessions on various topics, including infrastructure developments and innovation. The business program will be closed with a networking lunch with a Brasilian touch.
