Investing in a joint future
6 October, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Brasil is one of the fastest growing markets in the world and offers many opportunities for investors in a wide range of sectors.
In the light of Brasil's investment opportunities and the long-standing trading relationship between The Netherlands and Brasil, the Netherlands- Brasil Business Meet 2011 will focus on the possibilities for entrepreneurs in both countries to continue and expand this already strong relationship. As the Netherlands is the second largest investor in the Brasilian economy and the fourth largest export recipient of Brasilian produce, there are clearly many opportunities to explore.
During the Netherlands-Brasil Business Meet (NBBM), eminent Brasilian and Dutch speakers will give their view on the rise of the Brasilian economy and the opportunities this presents for both sides. Subjects that will be elaborated on include specific sectors (such as construction & infrastructure), but also cultural differences (necessity for contingency planning on tax and human resources side, general business ethics) and the innovative aspects of the Brasilian economy.
Ample time will be available for the actual "business meet" side to ensure Dutch and Brasilian companies can establish and further deepen their relationship.
This economic program, ‘The Netherlands - Brasil Business Meet 2011’, is sponsored by KPMG and Rabobank and is organised in cooperation with the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, VNO-NCW, the Municipality of Amsterdam, AkzoNobel and the Brasilian Embassy.
